Hello! This article presents an open-source Django Seed project generated by AppSeed on top of Flexy, a colorful Bootstrap design. The source code, released under the MIT License on Github, can be used in commercial projects and eLearning activities. ✨ How to use it

Being an open-source starter, the products can be used in a local environment using a few simple steps documented on the project README.

  • Clone the source code
  • Install the dependencies using a virtual environment
  • Migrate the database
  • Start the application and interact with the UI

Another possibility is to use the Docker set up shipped with the product that automates all the above steps under a single command:

Flexy Django - Download the code
$ git clone https://github.com/app-generator/django-flexy-bootstrap.git
$ cd django-flexy-bootstrap
Flexy Django - Start in Docker
$ docker-compose up --build

Once the above commands are executed, we should see the app running in the browser.
